Look, the neighbors are coming out!
Our neighbors are just starting their school days, their daughter is in kindergarten. Her little brother was all ready for the bus too- another couple years for him though...
In line for the bus-
Jonathan got on the bus without hesitation- thankfully. I was afraid that he was going to not want to get on. If I had to put him on it was going to be ugly!
And off they went! The bus drivers are so cute! They couldn't believe that he was old enough to go to school either. I only cried a little. :)
Then I went to breakfast with the girls. Some newbies like me, some seasoned vets. We all were glad to be there. Then I came home and spent the rest of my day cleaning my room. The ENTIRE day in one room.
This isn't something you see every day around here- all laundry is done & put away.
That feels good!!
Tomorrow is errand day- and pick a winner from the clothes giveaway & guess what, I have another one all lined up already!!!
I'm so glad your son had a good first day and that you got some me time! That lunch box IS adorable. It makes me wish I were still in elementary school. I feel like med school students can't be taken seriously if their lunchboxes have capes on them, otherwise I would totally buy one.
ReplyDeleteGreat pic of the kids! They are all so cute. You must to have total organization at home for all the schoolwork and everything. I can't imagine. I only have one in school right now and there are nights we spend all night on her homework. Sounds like a great day for them and you.
