Wordless Wednesday- Big News!!

Since we have a signed P&S, I think I can share our very big and exciting news!! We are purchasing a 2nd piece of property! It is in the historic Tiverton 4 Corners District (only 1.5 miles down the road from us) and has such HUGE potential we don't even know where to begin.

How about a look around -

The main house (2 bedrooms, 1 bath- too cute, huh?)

This is the main structure on the property (at least in Adam's mind). It has some significant history having been a gas station and prior to that the South Tiverton volunteer fire station. photo credit TL Holland

Here is the 1st cottage- it was here that the fire men would sleep when it was the fire station.

these two photo's are from Garrett Seiple

This is the inside of that cottage- I absolutely fell in love with this building, with the fireplace & the open rafters, LOVE IT!

Here is the 2nd cottage- cute too

And here are the grounds- two streams

The property is almost 5 acers in total. It has another couple buildings; a garage and a workshop. It abuts a pond, has stonewalls, I could go on and on.

As I said, we are not entirely sure what we are going to do with the property.

Obviously, we love the buildings and they are all going to stay.

What would you do?

This will be my entry for both Wordless Wednesday at 5 Minutes for Moms and Wordful Wednesday at 7 Clown Circus.

  1. Congrats! First time to your blog but I'm still excited for ya! I love what people do when they revamp old houses. Are you guys planning on flipping it or keeping it?

With such a rich history, I'd have a hard time selling it I am sure. I'm a sucker for history, or so I've been told.
Still though, looks like a beautiful property!

  6. Super exciting news!!! Congrats : ) I'm not sure what I would do with a property like that. Can you rent the cabins separately? I'm curious to see what you all decide to do. Good luck with it all, very exciting.
