Wordless Wednesday & The Joke's on Me

In my trip down memory lane last week for Emily's birthday, I found this picture from many years ago (80's maybe??) of Adam's family participating in the Holy Ghost Feast. See, this year, Adam's aunt has a chance to have the crown at her house, and she picked my eldest to be the one to get crowned. I really don't know what I'm talking about yet, here is the link that would explain it better than me- be prepared for church music if you click over!! I do know that we all are participating, and we all have to have matching red dresses. Thankfully, Adam's cousin has good taste and she has already found us dresses that look very nice.

So, after finding this picture above, I made a funny comment about how I was thankful I already had my dress so I wouldn't have to worry about being the "flag girl". I thought I was being funny- like this was a done away with part of the ceremony- then someone sent me this picture below from LAST YEAR's feast- the joke's on me!!
